Summer Spotlight Highlights
Summer Spotlight 2026 wrapped up our summer session of camp with two fantastic new shows created and developed by our outstanding campers! Thanks to these creative kids and teens and to our outstanding staff for a terrific summer theatre experience!
Summer Spotlight for ages 8-16 blends the excitement of age-appropriate classes in acting, improv, musical theatre, and stagecraft with the fun of working with an ensemble in creating, rehearsing and performing world-premiere plays in front of a live audience! Led by professional theatre artists and educators, Summer Spotlight offers a safe, fun, and supportive atmosphere for both beginning and experienced young performers. Everyone gets in on the action, and everyone gets a meaningful part, in StageBright Summer Spotlight!
Coming this Fall: In-School Arts Residencies
StageBright’s teaching artists will be back in action in late summer and through the fall, guiding students from across Delaware in theatre exercises, scenes, creative play, and full productions! Our Year in Review--2026
Student Matinees
In March of 2026, StageBright Theatre completed its spring student matinee tour! Over 1000 Delaware students were able to have a student matinee right in their school! Plans are underway for our student matinee tour for the 2026-2027 school year. Stay tuned or reach out to learn how to bring professional theatre to your school! Premiere Ensemble Players
StageBright Theatre was thrilled to introduce the Premiere Ensemble Players (PEP), a troupe of amateur adult actors with intellectual disabilities who met through the spring of 2026 to learn and polish their theatre skills, devise an original play, and perform it for a public audience! The group created two new plays, "Shenanigans" and "A Stroke of Luck," and performed for a cheering audience in late May!
Evergreen Writers Senior Playwriting
StageBright Theatre's teaching artists provided a two-month playwriting residency during the spring of 2026 at the Jimmy Jenkins Senior Center at Kingswood Community Center in Wilmington. Our wonderful playwrights added six new plays to the world of theatre through their individual and collective writing efforts!
